Professional boundaries built in

Leccy handles admin. You remain responsible.

Leccy does not create or validate electrical certificates, inspect an installation, interpret BS 7671, decide whether work is notifiable, calculate a deadline or submit a notification. The people responsible for design, construction, inspection and testing complete and sign the appropriate certificate. The user and responsible business follow the applicable scheme, certifier or Building Control process.

Does Leccy notify Building Control?

No. This beta prepares an administrative handoff. You still submit through your competent-person scheme, certifier or Building Control route outside Leccy.

Does it create an EIC, MEIWC or EICR?

No. Attach the existing certificate or report PDF created in the software you already use. Document type is only a filing label; Leccy does not reproduce, edit, sign or validate a form.

Does Leccy decide whether work is notifiable or when it is due?

No. You record your own assessment and the route already used or arranged. The app does not calculate a statutory or scheme deadline.

Is Leccy affiliated with NICEIC, NAPIT, IET or BSI?

No. Leccy is an independent Caversham Digital product and does not use scheme or standards-body branding in the beta.

Where are my records stored?

In Leccy’s private container on this iPhone. There is no Leccy account or cloud sync in this beta. Your Apple device-backup settings may separately include app data.

What will it cost?

The founding beta is free. The planned Leccy Solo launch price is £19.99 per month including VAT, with no per-certificate charge. Final pricing will be shown before any paid release.
